Fun Week!

So, this was our early 8th anniversary trip to Vegas/Utah . I know 8 years crazy huh. Who new it would fly by. I guess that's what happens when your in love and enjoying it. It was a lot of fun especially when Bard wasn't working. We left the kids in Utah and went to Vegas for 3 days. We stayed at Treasure Island our usual spot. It was so much fun. We went trail running at the Red Rock Canyon, which was beautiful and very fun, we went and saw a cirque du soleil show "KA" and loved it, and went to some  site seeing stuff and of course sat by the pool. The weather was gorgeous.  In Utah we went to an Aquarium which the boys loved. Bard ran 35 miles on Sat. and later that day had 2 BBQ's. It was so much fun seeing almost everyone and catching up. It almost made me want to live there again, but then I decided that if I was going to think that way I would really just wish for everyone to move to Colorado!  So, those of you who we didn't get to meet up with hopefully we will next time. A full weekend

Well, It is a busy weekend for us. Yesterday I finally ran 10 mile with no pain since my injury in july. Then went on a date with Bard. (smile) Today we had soccer pictures at 8:15 in the freezing cold followed by a game, which Brig did great at. He scored another great goal, which makes him 3 for 3 games with goals.  Also, we have two showing today for the house and last, but not least Bard is running 35 miles today! I'll let you know how he does.

A day out in the hills!

 It was really nice today so we decided to go out to a trail we love to run!  Bard went running by himself, since he graciously watched the kids for 2 hours while I went to the gym. I took the kids a mile up the trail to a ranger house that has a little nature walk around it, and then we both ran down the trail to the car. These are just a few of the pic's from the day out.
